Some people are great tricksters.   They just love to see something scared and running. I have seen men wait a long time behind a bush to be able to jump out and slap his legs in order to scare a poor little dog that would wanderer into his yard.  He would keep slapping his leg and laughing until the poor little dog was out of sight.   

My old friend and boss was scarred to death of rattlesnakes.  He came from a part of Texas that had rattlesnakes as big as corner posts. They could climb big bushes and would scare a man to death when you came up on one of those big rattlers up in the top of a big guajillo bush.   Some men’s horses would booger and shy every time  they were near a rattlesnake, because they knew their rider was going to spur and whip him to get him to move quickly away from that rattlesnake. Our old friend and boss would take a nap everyday after dinner sitting in a big chair next to the fireplace. I waited till I thought he had dosed off, to slide a necktie made out of a big rattlesnake skin over his shoulder next to his head. On his shoulder , I would put a little pressure on the snake skin with my finger while I drug the snake skin back over his shoulder, hissing just a little bit. This was enough to get him jumping up and down and he would usually end up outside in the back yard………but pay backs were Hell……!!!!!!!!!
